Presidential Character: A Public Zoom Forum (2/11)

Presidential Character: A Public Zoom Forum

Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 3 PM CST

Our first 2021 Jefferson Hour Zoom gathering comes on the eve of President’s Day in America. Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, and George Washington was born on February 22, 1732.

We thought it would be useful to spend our time talking about presidential character. What are the qualities we look for in a President of the United States? Strength? Administrative mastery? Charisma? Decisiveness? Ability to communicate? Ability to inspire? Intellectual preparation? Vision?

We’ll explore all of this through Jefferson’s eyes, of course, but not exclusively through his eyes.

We are most eager for our listeners around the country (and beyond) to participate, to come with questions and thoughts in mind. This gives us a chance to see who is out there hearkening to the Jefferson Hour, and it gives you a chance to see the sausage being made!
